You Have to See These Moms Hilariously Sum Up Swimsuit Season

We can't stop watching this hilariously honest and spot-on video that calls out just how ridiculous swimsuit fashion is for women.

We all know that when it comes to beach season, there is one basic common truth.

This is how guys get to dress:

And this is how women are supposed to dress:

SO not fair!! Which is why the hilarious Kristin Hensley and Jen Smedley of #imomsoshard decided to take on this topic in a totally on-point video they recently shared on Facebook—and which I've probably watched at least six times because it's just THAT relatable.

"When I'm at the beach, I'm there to lifeguard, build sandcastles, supply treats, re-stand the umbrella every dang time it blows over, spray sunscreen, drink a beer, look for seashells, warm-up wet kiddos, force people to eat sandwiches and drink juice, blow up water-wings, and keep my son from publicly urinating," the LA moms explained in the caption. "Basically, I've got a really fun job to do and I don't have time to let a piece of Lycra throw me off my game."

Preach, ladies! Because going to the beach shouldn't be about feeling like you have to squeeze into a few strips of horribly-placed material, or worrying about what other people think of your post-baby bod. It should be about being out in the sun with your kiddos and enjoying every minute—tiny triangle tops and cut-outs be damned!

So leave your body hang-ups at home. Because as Hensley puts it in the video, "I do not feel confident in a swimming suit at all, but I'm not gonna let that get in the way of me building a moat."

Amen!

What's the most ridiculous-looking swimsuit you've seen lately?
