Don't hide your body! Flaunt it to this summer anthem, "Thunder Thighs."

As a pregnant mom entering summertime, I can definitely appreciate a new YouTube video that celebrates those of us who aren't a size 0, but still want to wear more revealing clothes as the weather heats up.

"Thunder Thighs" pays homage to legs that rub together, mom guts, and big butts, all clad in skimpy shorts and little skirts.

I mean, my belly is swelling, along with some other parts of my body, but who wants to cover up and sweat to death? No! Moms everywhere, don those spandex minis and Daisy Dukes, and go on with your bad selves!

Even if you've got those thunder thighs that "go boom, crack" when you stride, who cares? I plan on hitting the beach clad in a two-piece bathing suit, pregnant belly and all, and I don't care who stares, much like Miss Eaves, who stars in this LOL and super-relatable video.

Bottom line (pun intended): It's hot as hell. What's more productive? Focusing on shame over your "chub rub" or wearing what you want and enjoying an ice cream cone on the beach?

I love the body-positive message behind this video. It's a great reminder that life is too short to worry about the circumference of your thighs, butt, or belly. It's summertime, y'all! Put on some short shorts and have yourself a good time!

Besides, showing our kids we aren't ashamed of our bodies can only benefit them.
