After three kids, I definitely suffer from a serious case of mom brain. I'll ask my 3-year-old, "Which one of your sisters did we need to pick up at 3:30 again?" Of course, I'm kidding...mostly. But I definitely get things mixed up, like what day it is, who has what field trip when, and the names of my kids' teachers, and their friends. My girls find it funny, thankfully.
Another mom's less-than-perfect memory is making her a viral sensation after her daughter shared some of her fuzzy-on-the-details social media posts, which luckily, she finds funny as well.
College student Christina Duron recently tweeted about her mom's habit of forgetting the supporting cast of her daughter's life. "I really can't with my mom," Duron captioned her tweet, which features several of her mom's hazy memory-tinged boast posts about her daughter.
"My gorgeous daughter Christina and her date for the formal, sorry I forgot his name," reads one caption on a photo of the college student standing with a young man. In two other photos of Duron and gal pals, Mom can't recall for sure what her friends' names are, but tries anyway. Allyssa? Kara? Victoria?
Hey, at least her mom remembers the important stuff, like her daughter's name! And she loves her, and wants to show her off, mom brain and all. Getting the rest of the details right are just a bonus!
