This Bachelor Parody Is the Babysitter Reality Show We Didn't Know We Needed
Quick! Which one is more difficult: finding a good man, or finding a good sitter for your kids? If you answered the latter, you're gonna LOVE this hilarious new video from What's Up Moms called The Babysitter, Season 1 Preview.
If you haven't already guessed, the piece is a perfectly executed parody of everyone's fave dating reality show, The Bachelor—except instead of showcasing a bunch of women vying for the love of some random dude they just met five seconds ago, these chicks are competing to land the enviable gig of babysitting for Brooke and her two boys.
Sarah M. will you please accept this pink sippy cup?
Pure. Genius. I mean, we were hooked from the minute the first minivan (!) rolled up and the contestants started to pop out with stuffed giraffes, heart-shaped balloons, and jump ropes in a blatant attempt to score brownie points. Though one competitor—a Play-Dough Enthusiast from Columbus named Carrie—totally misstepped with her offering of a Ziploc-enclosed PB & J.
"There's crust on this," Brooke sneered in a confessional.
Oooh, burn! Pretty sure we know who won't be getting any one-on-one time tonight.
The video continues with the standard issue Bachelor fare: catty girl fights—"Excuse me, are you babysitting or going to the club?"—playdates at the park, and a nail-biter of a minivan driving challenge, before we finally arrive at the Sippy Cup Ceremony. Brooke is down to the final hot pink cup, which she nervously grasps in her perfectly manicured hands as a look of confusion suddenly clouds her face.
"Wait, where's Sarah M?" she asks.
Then a dude in a suit who is definitely not Chris Harrison but totally wants to be leans in and stage whispers, "She canceled last minute."
*sippy cup drop*

We have SO been there, honey! Which is why we totally need to make this show happen for real. We'd choose Brooke crying in her sexy red lace top at the prospect of being forced to call upon her in-laws over Nick and his lame turtlenecks every single time. He is definitely the worst bachelor in all of Bachelor history. He'd probably make a good Manny, though. Do we sense a dramatic plot twist coming on?
Tune in next week to find out.
