As a mom of three best known for starring on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry is no stranger to tongue-wagging about her parenting choices. But that doesn't mean she's happy to take any of that criticism lying down. The latest mom-shaming incident began on Sunday, March 18 when Kailyn took to social media to share a photo of her youngest, Lux Russell, with a basketball.
"Starting him young," she wrote alongside the sweet shot.
People reports that a Twitter user took aim at Kailyn soon thereafter, asserting that Lux should have his hair cut "unless your goal is to make him look like a girl." The tweet has since been deleted, but Kailyn's fiery response is still up.
“I’ll cut it when he tells me he wants to cut it. But you can mind your business lil momma,” the 26-year-old wrote.
Plenty of fans chimed in to offer Kailyn support, even sharing photos of their L.O.s who have longer locks.
Cheers to these mamas for doing what's right for them and their children. Just like a wide variety of parenting decisions, grooming and the right hair length for your kid is completely individual. Not to mention no one else's business.
