Hey, Disney fans! Hold on to your tiaras: Netflix just announced it's going to stream new Disney movies starting in September! My kids are going to be thrilled.

According to Hollywood.com, the movie offerings will also include Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm pictures. So the choices for family movie night will soon be almost endless!

Beyond just the sheer awesomeness of the fact that you can watch new Disney movies on demand shortly after their theatrical releases, according to Snopes.com, Netflix will also continue to offer an assortment of older film classics like Dumbo and Pocahontas. The entire Disney movie vault will not be cracked open, however.

My only complaint is that Netflix isn't starting their new Disney movie-streaming offering in time for summer break, when my kids are going to wake up and ask me every single day, "What can I do?"

Oh well. I am still very excited, er, I mean my kids are. Okay, fine; I love Disney—and Netflix, so yay! Meanwhile, let's hope this beautiful marriage between the two companies lasts to infinity and beyond, because there are some very exciting Disney movies coming out in the next three years, including Finding Dory and Frozen 2!
