Princess Charlotte Appears Adorably Excited for Her First Day of Nursery School
The soon-to-be big sister is all smiles just before the big day!
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are empty-nesters—for half the day at least! Princess Charlotte is officially enrolled in nursery school and the 2-year-old looks adorably excited in her precious first day of school outfit.
According to a post on Kensington Palace’s Instagram on Monday, Princess Charlotte will be attending Willcocks Nursery School, in Kensington—unlike her older brother Prince George who attends school at Thomas's Battersea, in south London.
Kensington Palace also tweeted the event stating, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte at Kensington Palace this morning.”
The swoon-worthy portraits taken by Kate Middleton herself capture Charlotte in a posh, $162 Amaia Kid’s, red pea coat with a matching pair of shoes and hair bow, paired with grey tights and a light-pink scarf. Charlotte donned a pink backpack with red polka dots to tie the whole look together.
It is clear the little one is enthusiastic about her big day—could she get any cuter?
