It's that time of year again...Santa Claus is coming to town!

But if the thought of dragging your kids to the mall and waiting in line for hours just to get a little face time with Kris Kringle is making you lose your holiday spirit, then we've got just the gift for you!

It's called, and it's a new online reservation system that lets you schedule your Santa visit in advance.

Here's how it works:

Parents simply hit up the website and click "Find Santa" to search for the nearest mall via zip code. Visitors can then select a particular time and date for their visit, now through Dec. 24. Then you just roll up at your appointed time and head over to the reservation line. And yes, pet owners can also make online reservations on special "Pet Nights" in designated markets.

If planning ahead isn't your M.O., you can still schedule Santa time in person at the mall, then go eat or shop until your timeslot comes up. "This is all a customer service to enhance the experience the customer gets when we go to the mall," said Steve Hardin, president of Worldwide Photography, the company resonsible for the site, which many malls hire to take their yearly Santa shots. Hardin has three kids himself and knew there had to be a better way to manage the time-suck and killer crowds.

Reservations are available at 260 malls nationwide, and to celebrate the launch of the 2015 holiday season, customers can save more than 30 percent off their photos if they make online reservations prior to December 12.
