Mom Perfectly Captures The Sheer Joy of Going to The Bathroom Alone

This vlogger mom's mantra—"pottying is a solo act"—rings true for any mom searching for some alone time in the bathroom.

The last time I went to the bathroom alone was about eight years ago, when I became a mother. Because in kid world, closed doors simply mean, "Come right on in!" If I ever lock the door, they just bang on it, and scream, so what's the point?

Mom and vlogger Kristina Kuzmic hilariously captures the joy of actually going to the bathroom by yourself in a new YouTube video called "Exciting News!"

So what is this big, exciting news Kuzmic wants to share? Yup, it's simply that she's in her bathroom alone—at last! But she understandably acts as if she's won the lottery.

"There's not a toddler in sight!" this me-time-needing mama declares through her joyous laughter. Clearly she is so done with, as she puts it, pottying being "a team sport." And we moms across America sooo hear you, Kristina, and agree that "pottying is a solo act." Or at least it should be.

From her toilet, Kuzmic goes on to squeal that she just can't believe she's alone right now. "It's almost like I'm on an exotic, deserted island," she describes about how great it feels. Hey, let's not go overboard here!

Kuzmic wants viewers to know she isn't bragging about her "vacation on the toilet" by the way. Hers is a message of encouragement: Yes, you too can go to the bathroom by yourself! "If it can happen to me, it can happen to you," she says, adding, "Just keep believing."

We will, Kristina! We will.
