Jimmy Kimmel Brought His Daughter to Work and It Was Adorable

Better watch your back, Jimmy Kimmel—there's a new hot talk show host in town and she's got designs on your glossy wooden desk. But then, you knew that already, considering she's, you know, your child.

On Thursday, Kimmel posted a photo to Twitter of his 20-month-old daughter Jane looking quite comfy taking over her dad's hosting gig in front of a backdrop of Hollywood on the set of Jimmy Kimmel Live.

"I've been replaced," he wrote in the caption, adding the hashtag: #TakeYourKidToWorkDay.

And indeed, Kimmel was relegated to the guest chair, while his new boss took over the hot seat and gave us her best Shirley Temple impression in a cute flower dress and face rimmed with curls. She seemed pretty much oblivious to her dear old dad, even as he leaned over in, what we can only assume, was an attempt to try and size up the competition.

Jane is the daughter of Kimmel and wife Molly McNearney, who tied the knot back in July 2013. And while Kimmel wasn't shy about sharing pics of Jane on his show after she was first born, he's been a little more reluctant to trot her out on social media.

He did, however, post an awesome face swap on both SnapChat and Instagram back in March. Because really, who can resist a good face swap?

"My daughter Jane looks SO much like me," he wrote in the caption.

No offense Jimmy, but we're kinda glad that's not actually true.
