Still looking for a Hatchimal for Christmas or Hanukkah? This may be your chance.

Still looking to score one of those sold-out Hatchimals for your kid for the holidays? I've got some good news, some bad news, and some more (kinda) good news.

Target has just announced its plan to restock the season's hottest toy this Sunday, December 11. The price tag will be $59.99, with a limit of two per customer. So that's the first bit of good news—you know, as long as you don't have more than two kids. All hail the Bull's Eye!

And the bad news? Close your eyes for a minute and just try to envision the all-out shopping frenzy that's bound to ensue. Think Arnold Schwarzenegger desperately trying to score a Turbo Man action figure for his son in Jingle All the Way and you're on the right track. Which means you should probably start camping out now, guys.

But if fighting a tumultuous crowd isn't exactly your thing, here's the second bit of good news I promised: Target will also sell Hatchimal gift cards in any dollar amount. And while the piece of plastic won't guarantee your kid a Hatchimal by Christmas, it can be used to purchase one of these bad boys as soon as more inventory shows up. The IOU probably won't have your kid jumping up and down and telling you how awesome you are, but it's better than nothing, right?

Of course, you can always blame your epic Hatchimal fail on Santa like this mom did. Or you can print out a letter of explanation from the big guy himself directly from the Hatchimals website.

Passing the buck—now that's the true spirit of the holiday!
