Princess Charlotte is finally 1! Happy birthday to this little princess who is actually a princess.
To celebrate the happy occasion, the Royal Family has released some seriously cute new images on Twitter, like this one of the little cutie doing her part to keep the palace grounds in order. So adorable, right?
Lucky for us, the Royal Fam hasn't been shy when it comes to sharing Charlotte's milestones with the rest of the world, so we thought this would be a good time to take a look back at the sweet child's incredible first year.
Kate looked insanely flawless for someone who just, you know, birthed another human being! And check out Charlotte just nonchalantly dozing in her mum's arms.
Then in June, Kensington Palace released the first official pics of the princess—snapped by the royal mama herself!—being cuddled by her older brother Prince George.
And we are totally digging the princess' all-white ensemble, aren't you?
Next came the Royal Christening in July. The service took place at St. Mary Magdalene Church on the Queen's Estate in Norfolk—at the same countryside church where Princess Diana was baptized. The little princess was surrounded by close family and friends as famed photog Mario Testino snapped some seriously stunning images.
In November, the Duchess was back behind the lens, capturing Charlotte in a floral dress and pink cardigan as she happily played with a cute stuffed dog.
And if that shot wasn't enough to convince us The Royals are just like us—minus the whole part about them actually being royalty—along came the family Christmas card, in which a bunch of discarded toys lay in the grass near Prince George's feet, and a precariously balanced Princess Charlotte appears to be missing a shoe.
Photographing a family-of-four with two young kids is no picnic, right?
In March, we got to see an adorably bundled up Charlotte in her dad's arms on a family ski trip to the French Alps that was posted to the Kensington Palace Instagram account. "We are pleased that we can share these important family moments with you, and hope you enjoy these photographs as much as we do," read the caption.
Another shot showcased the entire beautiful family: "This was their first holiday," it was captioned. "And the first time either of the children had played in the snow."
Finally, just last week the Palace posted a rather formal picture of the Queen surrounded by her two youngest grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, in order to mark her 90th birthday, and guess who got the best seat in the house?
How's that for an impressive first year? We can't wait to see what adventures the Royal Family has in store for Charlotte next!
Happy birthday, beautiful girl!
