An Irish dad tried to document his Vegas vacation with a GoPro, but—adorably—ended up filming himself the entire time.

Dads are known for embarrassing their kids. Just watch National Lampoon's Vacation or spend some time scrolling through Jimmy Fallon's trending #StopItDad hastag on Twitter and you'll see what I'm talking about.

But after Evan Griffin handed his GoPro over to his father Joseph so he could film a recent Vegas vacay, the mortification game was taken to a whole new level. The not-so-tech-savvy dad accidentally recorded the entire trip in selfie mode.

Fortunately (for us), his loving son uploaded the resulting four minutes and seventeen seconds of awkward hilarity to YouTube, along with the caption: "So... Gave my Dad my GoPro while he was in Las Vegas, I did not, however, instruct him on how to use it, so my dad being my dad, and a culchie, didn't know which way to point the f*king thing..."

The video already has more than 6 million views. The best part? When Joseph busts out his Forrest Gump and Bubba impressions while going down the escalator: "You ever been on a shrimp boat? No, but I've been on a big boat. You ever been on a big boat? No, but I've been to Vegas."

Tell me that didn't just make your day! And is it just me, or is anyone else hopng this turns into a series?

Evan titled the masterpiece "An Irishman in Vegas," and Joseph refers to himself while shooting as "the tourist everybody hates," but the Internet has taken to calling this guy GoPro Dad, which we think is way more apropos.

Run, GoPro Dad, run!

(Clark Griswold, you've officially been put on notice.)
