Would your kids be fooled by this ice-cream-like treat?

Here's what my mornings with three kids typically look like: Me, frantically pouring Cheerios into bowls, as I guzzle a reheated cup of STRONG coffee. Sound familiar?

But as supermodel Gisele Bündchen recently shared about her morning routine with People, mornings in her kitchen look quite different.

The lithe star's kids Benjamin, 6; Vivian, 3; and stepson Jack, 9, whom she shares with hunky football god Tom Brady, aren't wolfing down breakfast cereal like my brood. Instead, they're dining on scrambled eggs with gluten-free toast (natch) and some avocado. Or perhaps coconut yogurt. Once in a while, Bündchen tells People, she'll even whip up gluten-free pancakes.

Meanwhile, Bündchen told the magazine she likes to start her day with "lukewarm water and lemon." Then she drinks "homemade green juice" created with whatever's in the fridge. And she doesn't mean leftover mac 'n' cheese; more like spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, ginger, and turmeric. Man, I'm always wondering what to do with all that leftover turmeric in my fridge. Good tip! She also adds apple "to make it sweeter."

For a treat, Bündchen allows the kiddos an acai bowl with berries and banana. And tells them it's ice cream! According to WebMD, acai berries are known for their anti-aging and weight-loss properties.

I get why Bündchen is so into healthy eating. We all want to raise healthy children. I mean, I read labels. I try to get my girls to eat fresh fruit and veggies. But I try not to stress too much about what they eat. It's my view that the occasional bowl of real ice cream won't kill them.

Ultimately, it's all about balance. You want kids to enjoy being kids, and you want to nourish their little bodies so they can grow up healthy, and live long lives. Still, it must be said that what happens in the Brady household isn't overly attainable for the average mom! We're over here, just trying to survive. Ergo, Cheerios.

What is your take on Bündchen's morning routine?
