Those little milestones never cease to make us parents soooo proud. And maybe a little emotional.

When your kid does something for the first time, there are pretty much no words to describe how proud you feel, whether it's because they took a step, or accomplished riding a bike solo. Of course, it's no different with star parents and their kids. And perhaps no moment more perfectly captures the incredible swell of joy a mom or dad experiences when their child hits a milestone, than the one David Beckham recently captured with his 5-year-old daughter Harper.

In the sweet Instagram clip, we see the star dad jogging beside his little girl as she pedals along on a cute-as-can-be pink bike (and sports a pink helmet, natch). "First time riding on your own, Harper!" he boasts to the camera.

"So so proud," is the adorable caption to the video, which has been viewed an incredible 3.1 million times.

The post is likely so popular simply because we can all relate to what the proud dad is feeling. Because he probably worked with Harper countless times to get here. Where she is riding the bike on her own, like a big girl. But wasn't it just yesterday that she needed training wheels? Sniff. It all goes so fast.

See? Beckham's proud parenting moment is all of us. And I speak from experience as a mom of three that just because this isn't Beckham's first child (he also shares sons Brooklyn, 18; Romeo, 14; and Cruz, 12, with his fashion designer wife, Victoria Beckham) those moments don't get any less amazing.

So go, Harper! Just don't, gulp, grow up too fast!
