This video captures dads' reactions as they read through their daughters' texts to their boyfriends.

It's every teenager's worst nightmare: Your cell phone falls into the wrong hands and suddenly all your private text messages become public.

Even worse if the hands your phone lands in happen to belong to your dad!

T. Mobile decided to test the concept out in a video collaboration with Elite Daily called "Technically Speaking," which features a bunch of dads going through their daughters' texts to their boyfriends, and then reading them out loud in front of them.

"Texting is a huge part of our interpersonal relationships—necessary even," Elite Daily wrote on the video's YouTube page. "We text to vent, to share secrets, even to start foreplay. So what happens when your dad gets hold of your cell phone? Do you jump on it like a landmine before the embarrassment blows up? Or do you just let it happen while we put a camera in your face?"

For this brave crew, it was the latter.

"Last Thanksgiving Eve Ryan projectile vommited on the sidewalk," reads one dad.

Uh-oh. He then gives his daughter the side eye and asks: "Why did he vomit?"

"He was really sick," she cooly responds

"How come?" Dad shoots back.

"Umm... flu."

Nice save.

The other dads then get in on the action, scrolling through texts that cover everything from cuddling and condoms to pregnancy tests and, um, eggplant emojis.

"It's been awhile since I 'eggplant' with a really good dude," one dad read.

"Ohhhh I get it," he said after a beat, covering his obvious discomfort with a bit of nervous laughter.

Sh*t just got real, you guys!
