The father-daughter pair nailed their version of Childish Gambino's "Redbone"—and even caught Donald Glover's attention!
File this under the cutest thing you'll see all day. A father and daughter duo from the Atlanta area are making headlines for their adorable cover of Childish Gambino's "Redbone." The video was created with one main goal in mind: to sell Charity's Girl Scout cookies, of course!
Back on February 17, Seymore Harrison Jr. took to Facebook to share the clip of the pair singing in the car together. In the "remix," Charity sings, "Thin Mints, you wanna order some before it's too late. We also got Trefoils, and they taste great. Tagalongs will make you feel fine." So sweet.
Since going live, the clip has racked up 4.6 million views and more than 100K shares. "This is TOO CUTE!!!! And, I adore the fact that she committed her lines to memory," one commenter wrote, while another said, "Definitely one of my top favorite videos of all time!!!"
Charity set her sales goal at 2,500 boxes, and since her video has gone viral, she's knocked that out of the park! In fact, "Redbone" singer Donald Glover appeared on Stephen Colbert's The Late Show on Wednesday, February 28, meeting Charity and Seymore and buying the 113 boxes Charity had left to sell (all Thin Mints!).
