Bey is clearly the coolest mom ever.

Now that my daughter is wrapping up her last few months of middle school, it's hard to recall the time when, back in those early elementary years, she used to love it when I'd pop into the building to host a cupcake sale or chaperone a field trip.

I probably complained about them at the time, but I miss those days now. There was just something about the look of pride I'd see in my daughter's eyes when she'd spy me chatting up the school principal in the lobby or running a booth at the yearly spring carnival that made me feel like I was finally getting the whole motherhood thing right.

So I can only imagine what it's like for a girl like Blue Ivy when her mom—Beyonce, maybe you've heard of her?—decides to drop by school for a visit—which is exactly what she did over the weekend.

Queen B hit up a fundraiser for Blue's elementary school at the Shrine Auditorium and took over the stage in a skintight, tiger-print dress for a surprise performace of hits like "Crazy In Love," "Halo," and Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You."

She even brought back-up dancers. Which basically means a bunch of 4-year-olds got to see Bey in concert for free, while the rest of us are still in denial about the fact that we didn't score Formation World Tour tickets.

How much are you wishing your kids went to that school right about now?

Meanwhile, the lucky parents whose kids DO go to Blue Ivy's school quickly got busy uploading video clips of Bey's performace to Instagram.

"Just another mom helping out at the annual school fundrasier!" wrote one, in what has got to be the most perfect caption ever.

"Then this happened," added another. "Beyonce singing Whitney! #WTF #awesome."

I once went into school and handed out little bags of candy on Valentine's Day.

That's, like, totally the same thing...right?
