4 Easy Independence Day Desserts

If your family is anything like mine, on July 4th, somewhere between your hometown's star-spangled parade and grand fireworks display, there's going be a big ol' all-American feast. I can't imagine the holiday without something grilled and smothered in my mom's sweet, smoky homemade barbecue sauce, but this year, we'll likely be on the road visiting family elsewhere. If I can scrounge up the time—and find not-too-busy kitchen to elbow my way into—I just might whip up a little red, white and blue treat like one of these sweet and simple goodies.
