Q: Please let me know.

A: You ask a simple question -- but there's not a simple answer. In some cultures, and in some families, children sleep with parents until 6, 7, or even later. In others, children never sleep with their parents. For each individual family, it comes down to weighing your culture, and what you want, as parents -- as well as your child's needs. If you and your partner decide it's time for the baby to give you some space at night, create a plan together, and implement it slowly but surely. Then, enjoy your long-awaited privacy and baby-free sleep!
