How Soon Is Too Soon to Stock Up on Christmas Foods?
No need to wait for Black Friday to stock up on these Christmas-themed grocery store finds. From sugar cookie cereal to Elf cookies, these Christmas food products can be a "To: Me, From: Me" gift earlier than ever this year.
Any Elf fan knows, "We elves try to stick to the four main food groups: candy, candy canes, candy corns and syrup." And for quite possibly the earliest time ever, candy canes and similar Christmas foods will be hitting supermarket shelves before you dole out candy corn to trick-or-treaters. These new product announcements have the holiday food fans buzzing on social media, and even though no distinct launch date has been announced for each, the teasers have us wondering: How soon is too soon to talk sugar cookies, peppermint candies and all things Christmas? Will we soon see candy canes next to July 4th sparklers?
