This is because AppleTV+ had secured the exclusive rights to the Peanuts holiday movies, but after much public outrage, Apple teamed up with PBS to make sure the film will air on television—and Thanksgiving is officially saved.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will air on Sunday, November 22 at 7:30 p.m. CST. The film will air without ads or commercials, so you can get the full family movie night effect. If you normally watch the film with your extended family, consider hosting a virtual movie night this season instead.

A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving tells the story of Charlie Brown attempting to organize a Thanksgiving feast at the request of his friend Peppermint Patty. As the characters throw together an impromptu celebration, they learn about the meaning of the holiday—that it's all about appreciating what you have. It's a sweet reminder that feels especially relevant in 2020.
