'A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving' Will Air on TV This Year After All
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving first aired the Tuesday before Thanksgiving in 1973, and since then has become a holiday staple for families gathering to celebrate the holiday. As you might have learned when It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown didn't air on television for Halloween, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving wasn't scheduled to air on ABC this year, either. This is because AppleTV+ had secured the exclusive rights to the Peanuts holiday movies, but after much public outrage, Apple teamed up with PBS to make sure the film will air on television—and Thanksgiving is officially saved.
