It's been a long summer, so the coming fall season will be a welcome change. There’s nothing better than curling up with a steaming mug of apple cider and settling in for a fall Hallmark love story. Last year, Hallmark premiered six new fall-theme films, so we've been looking forward to the 2020 releases for several months. But of course, film studios and movie sets have been shut down due to the pandemic, and the longer it went on, we began to wonder whether Hallmark would be able to release any new movies at all this year. Luckily, the channel just announced the details of their annual Fall Harvest program, and there are five brand new movie premieres on the list.

Starting in mid-September, Hallmark Channel will air five new fall-themed movies featuring cozy sweaters, festive pumpkins, and of course, tales of true love. Immediately following the Fall Harvest program, the long-anticipated Countdown to Christmas event will begin. Starting Friday, October 23, you can catch all 40 brand-new Hallmark Christmas movies on both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

While you wait for snowy log cabin romances and tales of hometown Christmases, whip up your favorite pumpkin treats and set the DVR to record these new fall flicks. Here's everything we know about this year's new movies.
