Oops! We have a feeling this outfit goes against school dress code...

On April 4th, Texas mom by the name of Shelly McCullar sent her son Anthony to school just like any other day—it wasn’t until he came home that Shelly noticed Anthony was sporting an inappropriate shirt. What appeared to be a regular McDonalds' t-shirt with the logo “I’m lovin' it” across the front really displayed a pair of parted legs wearing heels. Talk about an awkward moment… Mortified, Shelly took to Facebook to apologize for her major mom faux-pas and explain how her son got his hands on the explicit top.

Shelly’s caption reads, “Once again, my sincere apologies to the teachers and staff at Travis Elementary. I promise from now on to monitor what my kids are wearing! I had no idea Anthony wore this to school!!”

Along with the post is an adorable video of Anthony and his mom, perplexed over the shirt—Anthony explaining that he didn’t realize the shirt was inappropriate, and that no one at school questioned his outfit choice. We completely sympathize with the family for their innocent mix-up, it is actually quite hilarious.

Shelly continued, “Just to clarify, I would never let my kid wear something like this. A friend had given me some hand me down clothes for Anthony. I haven’t had the chance to completely go through them. I will tonight though!! Through my embarrassment, I did lmao!! #ithoughtitwaslikemcdonslds #notthegoldenarches ”

We can’t help but chuckle and feel for poor Shelly and Anthony! With 90,000 likes, 46,000 thousand comments and over 100,000 shares, it seems as if everyone feels for the mother, son duo as well.
