The method:

A cauliflower can be unwieldy to chop. But with this easy method, it may just become your new go-to veggie. And since cauliflower is chock-full of fiber, potassium, and Vitamin C--not to mention delicious--it's an excellent addition to your family's diet.

1. Remove the leaves.

2. Chop off the stem.

3. Stand the cauliflower up and cut it in half.

4. Now, here's the trick: Cut the halves in half. This makes it really easy to remove the core.

5. Cut out the core from each cauliflower quarter.

6. Separate the florets with your hands or a knife.

Whether you're cutting cauliflower for a crudite platter, roasting it, adding florets to mac 'n' cheese, or making cauliflower rice, you'll find it easy to veg up your meals.
