Check your cabinets! Campbell Soup Company has just announced that it is recalling some cans of SpaghettiOs Original in the United States.

The cans are being recalled after receiving customer complaints that traces of red plastic from the can lining were found in some cans. The recall includes approximately 355,000 14.2-ounce cans.

Only cans with the date February 22, 2017 (stamped on the bottom of the can) and UPC code 51000 22432 (printed under the bar code) are included in the recall.

The company is urging consumers to not eat this product, but mentions that the plastic is non-toxic.

"The plastic is food grade and is from the lining of the can. It is not harmful if ingested," the company said in a response to a customer on its Facebook page. "The reason we are recalling the product is that the pieces could pose as a potential choking hazard."

Those who have bought the affected product should return it to the store where it was purchased for an exchange or full refund. For additional information, Campbell Soup Company can be reached at (866) 535-3774.
