Oreo Is Launching Some of Our Favorite Desserts in Cookie Form and We Are Drooling
Rumor has it Oreo is going to bless us with a summer release date of three incredibly nostalgic flavors you're going to want to get your hands on.
Oreo’s upcoming flavor launches make eating your favorite luxury desserts easy and on-the-go accessible—because we deserve high-end treats wherever, whenever. If you haven’t noticed the cookie company has really gone out of its way to concoct some unique, and questionable flavors (Cough, cough: Cherry Cola Oreo and Piña Colada Oreo.) but, this time around we are more than onboard with what they have to offer.
Although we have yet to sample the flavors, how good does the Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Oreos look?! Based off the classic Strawberry Shortcake ice cream bars that bring us way back to our beloved ice cream truck days, we have a feeling this flavor option is going to pack the most nostalgic punch of them all. They even went as far as adding strawberry-flavored bits inside the crème filling, and we appreciate the added touch.
Chocoholics get a glimpse of the new Rocky Road Trip flavor that comes fully loaded with marshmallow bits, rocky road flavored crème and soy nuts. Yes, our mouths are watering too. This flavor is just begging to be dunked into a nice cold glass of milk, and we aren’t going to deprive the cookie of what it needs, now are we?
Lastly, the flavor we are most excited about is the (Cue drumroll…) Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie Oreos. This masterpiece of a cookie comes in the form of a graham wafer with peanut butter and chocolate filling inside. Although this flavored has been rumored to drop for months now, Delish.com reported the possibility of a summer release date along with Rocky Road Trip and Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake.
Again, Oreo has not officially specified when we can expect these flavors to hit the market, but if the rumors are true, we won’t be waiting much longer. It’s pretty unfair for them to dangle this goodness in front of our faces and then hold out on delivering the goods—we just want in already!
