Our forever quest to embody Chrissy Teigen is about to get a lot easier thanks to the queen herself and we couldn’t be more excited. As we all know—due to our avid stalking of her social media—Teigen is a master in the kitchen and now you can be too. In anticipation of her second cookbook, Cravings 2, coming out in September, Teigen has paired up with meal kit service Blue Apron so that we can easily recreate her best dishes at home. Now you can actually say out loud, “I’ll have what she's having.”
The limited-time-only, exclusive partnership will last from June 4th through the week of July 9th—we suggest marking your calendars because you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity. Blue Apron is providing Teigen’s favorite home-cooked meals from her original cookbook, Cravings, as well as a sneak-peek of a Cravings 2 recipe (Pork Banh Mi Sandwiches with Pickled Cucumbers & Carrots)—right to your front door.
“It’s no surprise to anyone that I love cooking at home. I’m constantly experimenting with new recipes and sharing both my hits and my misses! I am excited to partner with Blue Apron to share some of my favorite recipes directly with my fans, followers, and home cooks, making it easy and convenient for them to cook with me in their home kitchens,” Chrissy stated in a Blue Apron press release.

We can only imagine every plate is just as bold and exciting as Teigen herself and by the time July 10th rolls around, we will all be eager to pre-order Cravings 2—which, by the way, is going to be a lot different from its predecessor. We caught up with the token foodie for the inside scoop (ha, we love a good food pun) and let’s just say the mompreneur’s busy schedule reflects in her recipes in the most relatable way.
“I look back on the old book and I'm like, ‘Oh my god, I had people make their own tortillas chips and croutons? What was I thinking—it would be just as good store-bought.’ I want everything to be a little bit quicker,” Teigen told Parents.com. “I like simpler ingredients, a lot more dried spices, but you still want people to be proud of the things they are making. You don't want to compromise when it comes to making good, quality food, especially when it comes to kids—you treat them better than you treat yourself.”
With a wife like Teigen, we were shocked to hear John doesn’t claim to have sympathy cravings. The soon-to-be momma-of-two even hinted that to be their biggest martial dispute, “Oh no, if anything John is the guy that works out harder, I swear probably our only fight is the amount that he will go to the gym because I'm a brat and I will be like excuse me.”
We aren't trying to rush through summer, but we need to get our hands on some Chipotle-Lime Chicken Fajitas—stat!
