It’s mid-July folks, which means living with brutal peak of summer heat-induced side effects like an unavoidable glistening upper lip, frizzy hair, exhaustion, and a public transportation-inspired attitude. That’s why we are calling in the big guns to alleviate our hell-on-Earth suffering and bring us back to a more tropical, relaxed mentality. A prescription in the form of rosé ice cream should cure even the worst cases—especially when it’s the product of an Angry Orchard and Davey’s Ice Cream collab. All jokes aside, this treat is a godsend.

As the perfect addition to our rosé summer diet, Angry Orchard’s Hard Cider Rosé mixed with New York City’s cult-favorite Davey’s Ice Cream comes in two buzz-inducing flavors perfect for taking the edge off.

Reminiscent of a creamsicle (see, we are already off to a great start), the Rosé CreamCider flavor is consistent of Davey's signature homemade Sweet Cream Ice Cream base with swirls of refreshing Angry Orchard Rosé cider-infused sorbet. The nostalgic flavors of childhood are upgraded with booze and we couldn’t be more satisfied.

For a more sophisticated feel, you can also opt. out of ice cream altogether and dive into the Pine-Apple Hibiscus Rosé Sorbet. The Angry Orchard Rosé cider base is complemented by fresh pineapple juice and hibiscus (go figure) making for the perfect combination of natural fruit and floral notes—it’s divine.

"Davey's Ice Cream is dedicated to making ice cream the right way: no frills, no fuss, just churning out classic American ice cream hand-crafted by real people using real ingredients," says David Yoo, owner of Davey's Ice Cream in a press release. "As we team up with Angry Orchard this summer, we look forward to continuing age-old culinary traditions through our creative approach to making each lick of Rosé CreamCider and Pine-Apple Hibiscus Rosé sorbet a memorable experience."

Warning: These limited-edition flavors aren’t easy to get a hold of and are only available while supplies last. NYC locals and visitors can try their luck at Davey’s Ice Cream locations in the East Village, Williamsburg, and Greenpoint as well as at Angry Orchard’s Cidery in Walden, NY.

Maybe, just maybe if we all get buzzed enough and cause a big stir, Angry Orchard and Davey’s will make this collab a permanent fixture for both brands. No one should have to go through summer without boozy ice cream or sorbet to cool off—it’s just not right.
