Measure and stir. Help your kid crack 3 large eggs into a bowl; use pasteurized eggs such as Davidson's (safeeggs.com) or wash your child's hands afterward. Remove any pieces of shell that got into the bowl, have her add 1 cup low-fat milk and a pinch of salt, and whisk it all together.
Dunk the bread. Show your child how to dip both sides of 8 slices of whole-wheat bread into the egg mixture. Let any excess drip off and ask her to place the bread on a nearby tray. If you didn't use pasteurized eggs, be sure to wash her hands again.
Add berries. While your kid pushes ? cup blueberries into the bread, heat a non-stick skillet on medium high. Add ? Tbs. butter. Cook a few slices until bottoms are golden, 3 to 5 minutes, flip; cook 3 to 5 minutes more. Repeat with remaining slices.
Put two slices on a plate for your child along with some maple syrup for dipping. Then let her dig in!
