Directions

To make the house:
  • Top a cupcake with chocolate frosting. Halve 2 chocolate graham crackers to form four squares. Set one square aside (you can save it for another house). Use a serrated knife to cut a square diagonally into two triangles.

  • Add frosting to the short sides of each triangle, then press them into place on the cupcake. Press the remaining squares in place to form the roof. Snip a 1/2-inch piece of black licorice, slightly angling your cut. Attach it to the roof with a dab of frosting.

To make the legs:
  • Mold 2 boots from red-colored fruit chew candy. Halve a black licorice stick and place a boot on each half. Place the legs on waxed paper. Melt white chocolate in the microwave according to the package directions. Transfer the chocolate to a ziplock bag, snip off a tiny corner, then drizzle stripes onto the legs. Place the legs in the refrigerator to set the chocolate. When they've hardened, arrange them underneath the cupcake.
