Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook until soft, about 6 minutes.
Stir in garlic and Italian seasoning; cook 1 minute more. Stir in zucchini and pepper strips; cook 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Add broth, salt, and pepper; cook, stirring frequently, 10 to 15 minutes more, until squash is soft. Stir in corn; cook just long enough to heat through.
