- 2 pounds asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
1. Heat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Wash asparagus; snap off and discard lower tough end. Drizzle asparagus with olive oil and toss lightly to coat. Place asparagus in shallow baking dish that holds them in a single layer. Sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper.
3. Roast in 425 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until tender. Makes 6 servings.
