Heat oven to 425°F. Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 to 10 wedges.
Toss potatoes wedges with 1 tablespoon of the melted butter in large roasting pan. Season potatoes to taste with salt.
Roast in 425°F oven for 1 hour, turning potatoes over with spatula every 20 minutes.
Heat together remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter and hot sauce in small saucepan. Toss with potatoes in roasting pan. Transfer to serving bowl.
