1. Saute beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in large pot over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes until vegetables are softened and meat is no longer pink. Stir in chili powder and cumin; saute 1 minute. Add tomatoes, breaking up with wooden spoon. Add salt. Bring to boiling. Lower heat; simmer, partially covered, 15 minutes.
2. Stir in beans. Simmer, stirring, until heated through. Makes 8 servings.
