Low-fat shrimp ranks as an all-time favorite appetizer among dieters. Especially when served with a zesty cocktail-style sauce.
Bring 3 quarts water, lemon zest and juice, garlic, seasoning and the bay leaf to a boil in a large saucepan. Add shrimp and return to boiling. Boil for 1 minute or until pink and cooked through. Drain, rinse under cold water.
Mix sour cream, horseradish, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, seasoning and hot pepper sauce. Serve with shrimp.
