Ingredients

  • 10 fat-free saltines, crumbled
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon mustard-mayonnaise
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 3 - 4 drops liquid red-pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 pound imitation crabmeat (surimi), chopped
Horseradish Sauce:
  • 1/3 cup nonfat sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon bottled horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 buns
  • Lettuce
  • tomato

Make It

1. Coat 9-inch pie plate with nonstick vegetable cooking spray.

2. Crumble saltines into egg whites in bowl; stir with fork. Let saltines soften, about 5 minutes. Stir in mayonnaise, onion, pepper seasoning and crab. Form into 4 equal-size patties. Place in prepared pie plate.

3. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven 12 minutes, turning once.

Prepare sauce:

4. Combine sour cream, horseradish and lemon juice.

5. Place patty on bun with lettuce and tomato; top with sauce. Makes 4 servings.
