Mediterranean Rub
Yield: 1/3 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried leaf thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic or garlic chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse (kosher) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Make It

1. Mix thyme, rosemary, sage, marjoram, garlic, salt and black pepper in small bowl. Rub into beef 1 hour before cooking. Makes 1/3 cup.

Variation

Variation:
  • To use on fish, add 2 tablespoons lemon zest, and squeeze the juice of 1 lemon on fish with rub.
