1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
2. Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda and salt in medium-size bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Fold in buttermilk, chives, rosemary and onion; do not overmix.
3. Roll dough between 2 pieces of plastic wrap to 1-inch thickness. Cut out biscuits with floured 2-inch cutter and place on ungreased baking sheets. Gather scraps together, reroll and cut out biscuits.
4. Bake in preheated 425 degrees F oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the centers comes out clean.
