Sage-and-Cider-marinated Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups cider OR: apple juice
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 center-cut pork chops, 3/4 inch thick (about 1-1/2 pounds)

Make It

1. Combine cider, honey, oil, sage, garlic, pepper and salt in plastic food-storage bag. Add chops; push out air; seal. Refrigerate 1 to 3 hours.

2. Prepare grill with hot coals. Position grill rack 4 inches above coals. Remove chops from bag; discard marinade. Place chops on rack.

3. Grill 12 minutes or until cooked through, turning over once. Makes 4 servings.
