Sounds delicious, but I don't consider it an easy slow cooker recipe. A slow cooker recipe should be , everything in the slow cooker and no worries until it's done! This recipe has to many steps to call it a slow cooker recipe. First brown the meat, place it in slow cooker, take it out, pull it apart. In the mean time prepare the sauce on the stove. Then serve them separately!
I am glad to see this recipe because I had a newspaper clipping for it more than 20 years ago and it was a hit!!! Very new at the time for “pulled pork”. I lost the recipe, but now it’s found. Highly recommend! Only difference is my recipe suggested serving the sandwich with coleslaw on top for a cool and crunchy offset to the spicy pork shreds . Delicious and can’t wait to revive this family favorite!
