Ingredients

  • 1 box (16 ounces) rigatoni
  • 2 links Italian sausage (about 5 ounces), casings removed
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 sweet green pepper, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes, in puree
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 box (10 ounces) frozen spinach, defrosted, drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon red-pepper flakes

Make It

1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain; set aside.

2. Cook sausage in saucepan, breaking up with spoon, 3 minutes. Add onion, green pepper and garlic; cook 8 minutes. Add tomato, water, spinach, salt, pepper flakes; cook, partially covered, 15 minutes or until heated through. Add rigatoni. Makes 6 servings.
