1. Fill medium-size saucepan with oil, making sure there is at least 6 inches between top of oil and top of pan. Heat oil over medium heat until oil registers 300 degrees F on deep-fry thermometer. Line baking sheet with paper toweling.
2. With metal slotted spoon, carefully add 8 ravioli at a time to hot oil to avoid overcrowding; fry for 1 to 2 minutes or until ravioli turn light brown. Adjust heat as needed to maintain temperature. With slotted spoon, remove ravioli to towel-lined sheet to drain.
3. Heat together marinara sauce and basil in small saucepan for 2 to 3 minutes or until hot. Pour into small serving dish. Serve alongside ravioli. Makes about 48 ravioli.
