- 1 bag (15 ounces) tortellini
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- Pinch nutmeg
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain well.
2. Heat butter in medium-size skillet over medium-high heat. Add cream, pepper and nutmeg. Bring to boiling; reduce heat; simmer 7 minutes. Add Parmesan; cook 2 minutes, until sauce starts to thicken. Add tortellini; cook, stirring, 1 to 2 minutes to heat through. Sprinkle with parsley.
