Mulled Cider

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts apple cider
  • 1 orange, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 4 cloves
  • 2 star anise pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

Make It

1. In a large saucepan, combine apple cider, orange slices, brown sugar, cloves, star anise pods and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and allow to steep at least 2 hours.

2. Strain out spices before serving.
