Servings: 12 Yield: 12 mugs Active Time 25 mins Total Time 25 mins
- 12 mini candy canes
- 14 marshmallows
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1. To make the cocoa mug handle, break off the long side of each mini candy cane so both sides are the same length.
2. Push one candy cane handle into the side of 12 marshmallows. (Poke a slit in the marshmallow with a knife to make it easy to attach the handle.)
3. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave for about 30 seconds, stopping and stirring once halfway through. Spoon a dab of the chocolate onto the top of each marshmallow. Cut the remaining two marshmallows into small pieces, and place on top of the chocolate to look like marshmallows on a real cup of hot cocoa.
