- 8 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, cut into chunks
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup heavy cream
1. Combine ingredients in a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until the ingredients have melted and the mixture is steaming and uniformly smooth. Do not boil. Serve over ice cream and Chipotle Brownies , if desired.
