Polenta With Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups instant polenta
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Make It

1. Bring milk and water to boiling in large saucepan over high heat. Add salt, garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper.

2. Gradually stir in polenta; cook, stirring the mixture constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes or until polenta thickens and pulls away from sides of saucepan. Stir in Parmesan and butter. Remove from heat. Makes 7-1/4 cups.
