- 1 package (12 ounces) fresh cranberries
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 orange slice, seeded
- Orange rind, for garnish
1. Mix berries, sugar, water and orange in saucepan. Stir over high heat 3 minutes, until sugar melts and water starts to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, until thickened, 20 to 25 minutes. Discard orange. Let cool.
2. Pour cranberries into serving bowl. Garnish with rind. Chill.
