- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter or margarine, at room temperature
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups sifted confectioners sugar
1. Beat together butter, milk, vanilla, salt and 1 cup sugar in medium-size bowl until smooth and creamy. Gradually beat in remaining sugar until good spreading consistency.
